Snow Fun

Took my Jeep out for a little fun in the snow this past weekend and the RL towed great in the snow and on the slippery roads. Saw the "yellow triangle" light up a few times and overall this truck is super stable in the slippery stuff.

I bet that Jeep and trailer must weigh close to 4500 pounds, and look how nice and level everything is. It must tow like a dream.

nice toy. :cool: How much does that combo weigh? It looks like you are over the towing limit of the rigid not that it can't really handle it...

I haven't actually weighed it yet, but I am sure it is close to the max or maybe a little bit over.:rolleyes:

It does tow great, though. I think it drops the back of the RL about an inch to an inch and a half, but it goes down the interstate straight as an arrow even with the winds we get here in Wyoming.

The RL really surprises me on it's towing ability. I know it's not a 3/4 or 1 ton truck with a V-8, but it sure tows nice...other than the gas mileage when towing (about 9 mpg).

I only tow my Jeep and trailer once a month for usually 2-3 hrs at a time going to and from the trailhead, and the wife drives the RL during the week, so that is the main reason we got it. It serves us both well!:D
