My parent's new car. It replaces the 13 year old Mazda MPV. It still runs like a champ but they needed something new.
SL,AWD with tech/premium/leather. I know the grill is ugly but I kinda like it now :)

Sorry for that. And thank you for the move.
no worries
I really like the Murano and nearly bought one instead of the Ridge in 2006. The dealership thought they were gold and wouldn't come down to a reasonable price, so Off to the Honda lot :)

Nice new car they got, and I hope it gives them many years of service.
At one time my Mom asked me about it and I didn't have much to say about the Sentra based SUV. It is different and I'm not a big fan of the styling.
It is rated well by other owners and is rated high on reliability. Much higher then the Nissan Titan. :D

I think the Rogue is base from the Sentra. I really hope this last more than 13 years. I'm still a little skeptic about the CVT. It shift really smooth but I'm still not iffy about it...

Wheel base is identical to the Maxima.

I drove on '06 Murano as a rental once, for about 4 days all around Illinois and Iowa. It wasn't bad, but the rounded rear had a wicked vortex that had it immediately dirty, not 20 minutes after picking it up from the airport in dry winter weather. I had to constantly keep washing the rear window to be able to see out.
We had a '93 MPV as well until it died of natural causes at 175k in '06. That was a pretty good truck overall.
I hope your parents are happy with their new vehicle.

We have no doubt that the MPV will last another year or so. It currently has 108k but it can definitely do more. My parents doesn't know what lead foot means... The Murano is a hugeeeee big upgrade from the van. Their first question in looking into the SUV was..."does this thing play tapes?" lol
