Canton, OH hotel (football hall of fame)

Anyone from or familiar with Canton, OH? Looking for a good hotel/area for one night.

I'll be hitting the Football Hall of Fame on Thursday morning before I get to Columbus

my plan:
Wednesday - drive from CT to Canton, OH (spend night)
Thursday - football HOF when it opens, then drive to Columbus in the afternoon.

I stayed at the red roof inn in north Canton last June for a friends wedding. We went to the PFHOF and it is just under 4 miles. They had just remodeled all the rooms. There is plenty of hotels in the area. :)

That Red Roof is in the middle of shopping world!!!! crazy !

I lived in Canton/Massillon area for 20 years and never went to the HOF :(

But yeah lots of Hotels one exit north
