If a Chevy can do it, so can our Ridgeline!:p

That truck should be ashamed it's the only one. A big V-8 with what 120hp? Yeah it's working real hard.
I had a customer in 01 or 02 trade a 94 Accord Ex 5sp with over 1,080,000 miles. He was still driving it from PA to NC everyday. The front was so sand blasted there was no paint on the hood just primer. It didn't run very well but hey it ran. Orginal engine and trans only the odometer needed to be replaced at 440K miles. He bought a 2001 Acura 3.2CL and traded it 2 years later with 319,000 for a 2004 TL 6sp.
BTW take about resell we were able to get $4000 for the 1M accord.

There are quite a few Chevy trucks out there with 1,000,000 +. If you look, that guy had four transmissions, 4 radiators, and some other stuff, but nothing much done to the engine. If you search Volvo or Saab, you will see a whole slew of 1,000,000 mile cars. Volvo used to give the owners a new one if they passed this mark. Saab just recently gave a guy a new 9-3 Aero for his 1,000,000 mile Saab.

That reminds me of a line a fellow salesman said. A guy pulled up in a 240 Volvo and came to us and said "what do you think I can get for a 350,000 Volvo." The salesman didn't say a word and without delay started clapping. Funniest thing I've every saw.

I have seen a couple of 2nd and 3rd generation accords that have a million miles on them too and have gone thru less parts.
My Accord which has over 200k and has had nothing other than normal maintenence other than a timing belt. It even has the original hoses on it. It has been pretty hard on exhausts though. :(

I remember reading an article several years ago (maybe 8 or 9?) in Car and Driver about a 5th gen. Accord with 1.4 million miles on it with seemingly limited repairs, although it wasn't getting its workout in Chicago/Minnesota etc. area either. I believe it was running around Nevada/California/etc. Anyway, I know I've had extremely low repairs on my 200k Accord, (148k battery, 98k and 209k front brakes, 209k front rotors, and 149k seat belt switch say what?) so I figure I'll keep it for a while longer.
