Hey everyone,
We are happy to report that we now own our first Ridgeline but here's the prob. The dealer detailed the truck and we realized that they somehow locked the radio/CD player. Really do not want to wait until Tuesday (Monday being a holiday) to get some tunes. Anyone know the default code to unlock it?
Any help is appreciated.

Check your information packet. The code is on a card that's usually tucked in with the manuals.

Unfortunately it is a used vehicle and the card is not there.
I am hoping there is some sort of default code that would apply to all Ridgelines, although I know it is unlikely.
Any other ideas?

There is no "default code". Kinda defeats the purpose, dontcha think? :)
There's a small white sticker on the left side of the glove compartment. Give that number to your dealer and they can get the radio code from Honda. No need to bring it in.

Some dealers (i.e. mine) put a second copy of the code sticker in the main fuse box, on the passenger side. You might check there.

Thanks Mark,
I checked it out but no luck, that's a pretty smart move on the part of the dealer.
Look in the manual, sometimes people write the code on a random page... (whistling.... :))

Hey guys,
I have a friend who is a dealer here in Kingston and he was able to track everything down for me, funny thing is he is Ford dealer and had to contact Honda in the US. Honda Canada didn't seem to have any answers.
Thanks to everyone who dropped a suggestion, I must say I am pretty happy and impressed with the response in this forum.
If you'll excuse me we are going for a drive :P
Cheers, have a good one!
