I was planning on going to the Football Hall of Fame, but after reading the EOC and exploring what some of them are doing, I am now going here on Thursday morning, before I arrive on Thursday night at the meet.

HOURS: 9-5 and is a little more than an hour from the meet.
COST: FREE admission

I might be able to join you. I will let you know as it gets closer. I have been there a couple of times and it is great. It has been about 10 years since I have been there last. :D

Keith,

I was stationed at Wright-Patt for a year. You are going to enjoy the Air Force Museum. There is more to see there than you can take in one day.

Ditto that.

Just took my nephew there a couple months ago. They've got everything- old and new. F22 Raptor, B2, Apollo equipment, ICBM's, WWI, WWII, etc...

Also, make time for the "Presidential Tour"... it's a 1.5 hr. tour of some of the USAF R&D aircraft and Presidential aircraft. It's actually on the base- they take you there by bus. You can get on Kennedy's plan and stand in the spot were Johnson was sworn in after Kennedy was assassinated. The Presidential Tour only runs a few times a day, so check the schedule when you get there and try and make time to see it.

Take plenty of memory- I took over 300 photos while I was there. :D

Yes, Keith is right. There is not much shade there. You guys enjoy the museum, unfortunately hubby can not take the day off, so we can not come. It's really a great museum.
