I posted my main intro in the other category, but wanted to greet my Texas neighbors too.

Located in Murphy which is near Wylie and Sachse. I don't guess there are any gatherings organized here in the N. Texas area for Ridgeline owners? Or perhaps there are and I just haven't read (or searched) far enough down.......

I hope to meet up with some of you all at some point.

Welcome to the ROC and congrats on your purchase. I am sure you will oove the Ridgeline as much as I. We try every so often to get everyone together somewhere, but with fuel prices being what they are.... Check out the National Meet in Merrysville, OH. A lot of us are heading there this summer.

Welcome. I don't know where you are but I'm kinda north texas.

Thank you. Murphy is down south of you and on the eastern edge of Plano.

I want to give a big "TEXAS" welcome too. Murphy was just a little cross roads on the way to Lake Lavon when I moved to Plano in 1975. In fact, Plano at that time only had one grocery store and two restaurants. The growth in that area has been nothing short of fantastic. Enjoy your Ridge!!

Excellent news. Congrats on the purchase. I haven't enjoyed a vehicle so much since I first started to drive (35 years or so ago).

We've got to get all of us in the DFW and nearby areas together sometime.

I'd do McKinney too. Nice park there off 75 and then there is the main square. I'm sure we could all agree on some good spot there.

If we push it west a bit we might be better able to convince our ROC friends on t'other side of town to join us...

As for mods for me -nothing planned at this time except for bike rack of some sort. I've been reading thru the old threads on that.

Well, I got her today. Great ride home from Shreveport. I am going to miss the F150 4x4 I sold, though.

I also am in the Lone Star Jeep Club with my Wrangler and we have meet and greets at area Sonics. Just a thought. :D

Welcome Brad RTL from Waco! I've been hoping for a local GTG too, but no luck. I'm hoping for a meet near good DFW watering hole myself.

Was driving down the Tollway here in Plano last week, and ended up behind a black Ridge (like mine). No big deal, but this one was actually de-badged (like mine!). Don't see that every day.
So I pass him, look back, and see that he has his stock OEM grille painted black (guess what?--like mine!). So here I am thinking my black, de-badged and painted grille Ridge is fairly unique...until I pass an EXACT clone on the highway...

I'm just a little East of you...over in North Carolina. Congrats on your new Ridgeline! I drove across Texas in '99. Took me three days to get out of your state! But beautiful country. :) I do love the wide open spaces.

Even if you are one in a million, there are 6,000 exactly like you.

Are you sure you weren't in a double parallel universe, and you saw yourself?

Was Stephen Hawking there? Carl Sagan? Jerry Garcia? Timothy Leary?

Or it could be like one of those dreams where you see yourself only your naked and people are looking and... um, nevermind. No, I've never had that sort of dream either......

Now - how about settling on a place for GTG.......

It might not have been a dream.

I used to live in Plano and can affirm they party like that in that neck of the woods.

Not in Plano itself....ever. Of course not. Perish the thought. Plano women still wear skirts to their ankles and everyone is so, um, "leave it to Beaver."

:D JK

1. It was defintely NOT a dream.
2. Yes, MOST of Plano is very uptight...

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Was it all body damage or glass too?

We were fortunate in Murphy to not get any of the hail.
