almost, but not quite; however, my RL does have the towing package so if someone were willing to loan me a trailer :D I'd be glad to tow it to Columbus for the National meet! k757 and I were fantasizing at last Saturday's Albany meet how fabulous it would be if Honda were to make their test track available to us!

Then you could also pull it out here next month for the Sedona meet! Let all of us desert rats touch the new toy! Seriously that looks like a real fun car to drive. Have fun with it and of course be safe.

hmmm, according to Google Maps it's 2,392 miles from here to Sedona - at my lifetime average of $0.20 per mile for fuel (plus an estimated 20% for towing the TT) that comes out to something like $1,150 for gas  - someone want to send me their gas card?

Maybe if I win the big Power Ball this week, but more likely I'll just post some pictures instead.:D

and if I win the Power Ball between now and then, I'll rent a cargo plane and fly both the RL and the TT out there! :D

I had an S4 at one time and it was hands down the greatest car I have ever owned.

Good luck with your purchase.

No... I would be just be lazy and buy new when I was there and raffle them off before I left....

I've got a couple of friends who've had the S4 and it's one sweet ride! One friend just traded his Porsche Cayenne S in for an S6 and that's a scarily fast 4-door!

Good luck with your purchase.
Thanks, this is her 3rd Audi (the others were both 3.2 A6 Quattro models) but her very first convertible and she can barely sit still she's so excited!

I upgraded the turbo's to RS4 and had a company reflash the ECU. It was definitely a rush to drive. I believe it had cooled seats as well as heated seats. If you're ever in Dutchess County, stop by I'd love to see it.

Can you tell the missus is thrilled with her new baby? I am as well as it looks and drives even better than I'd imagined; however, my new neighbor's black Viper is also pretty awesome.

Moose, please don't take offense with my comment, but you are getting the missus new driving gloves for her birthday, right? Those just don’t match the interior of the car.

yup, but it's soooo hard to find black leather gloves with pink trim or piping) - she's a 7+ year breast cancer survivor and it's hard to get her away from pink (her TT would be pink if they offered it as an option  )

Glad to hear your wife is a survivor (I pray for her and all affected by breast cancer as it has hit my family as well). I should have looked closer at the picture as I can now clearly see all the pink ribbons on her jacket.
I’m glad you didn’t take my comment the wrong way. I should have kept my mouth (fingers) quiet. Please accept my apologies.

thanks guys, yup, woman of house is grinning like I haven't seen since the (equally snowy) day we picked up the RL last January! it's one sweet ride and, despite having the same 3.2L V-6 engine as her 2 Audi A6s, it's got a much deeper, more aggressive exhaust note! btw, those Audi commercials really are true - that new Tiptronic 6-speed automatic (nee DSG - Direct Shift Gearbox) shifts quicker than you can blink your eyes!

not to worry, the missus gets to park her ride in the garage . . . only the poor RL has to suffer the indignities of Mother Nature!

Sweet ride Moose. The Germans know how to build a sports car right.

Many congrats from a fellow Audi fan! The new redesigned TT is a much better car than the previous model (which I loved also). The new TT looks sharper for sure. But more importantly it drives more like a sports car. Better suspension tuning, better turn in, better weight distribution, and better feedback. Plus the DSG is a fantastic box.

My only issue with the new TT is that they don't offer Quattro with the awesome 2.0T FSI:confused:

Yes, we'd definitely have considered that but Quattro was a must for us. btw, that's a couple of nice rides you've got there - the Boxster would have been a consideration if Porsche would offer it with AWD. Interestingly, the only AWD convertibles (at least at something even remotely reasonable prices - the Porsche Carrera 4 was waaaaay out of our range!) are the Audi A4 & TT - you'd think that VW would offer it for the EOS, Volvo for the C70, Mercedes for all of their drop-tops, BMW for the 3 Series, etc.

Yeah I agree, the list of AWD convertibles is pretty slim. I think you guys made the right choice. Enjoy!:)

ps: Love the color also:cool:
