: Ridge in Alaska
AlaskaRidge 08-16-2005, 12:57 AM I am happy to report the trip to my cabin went great. We had a couple of visitors from the "Bush" and took them to our semi remote cabin. 5 miles of undulating terrain and a loaded Ridge.
3 adults, and 2 German Shepherds rode fine in the cab. The bed was filled with gear, coolers and a Honda generator. I do not think I would have been nearly as comfortable in my Ford F-250 Crew Cab.
The real test will be this winter when the minus 50 rolls in!
I am lovin' this truck...
VaVet96 08-16-2005, 06:00 AM Sounds terrific AlaskaRidge! Any pictures of your Ridge "in the wild"?
Truckin' 08-16-2005, 09:13 AM Yes, please post photos. More details would be nice too.
denvrfan 08-16-2005, 10:27 AM I, too, would love to see your Ridge in it's element!

Sorry, but your just not going to get a Ridgeline in an Element. Just look at the size difference between the 2 vehicles. :D
shovelhd 08-16-2005, 01:48 PM But can you get an Element on two Ridgeline tailgates back-to-back? :)

A Ridgeline is an essential Element of every household, if only people would do their Civic duty and reach some peaceful Accord and make the leap.
I'm proposing a new initiative, one I'll call S2000. If only I had the Insight to navigate this Odyssey. Maybe I need a Pilot. This phase will take us to a whole new CR-V. Whatever the heck that means......

Come 'on AlaskaRidge, still waiting to see your RL in the wilds of Alaska! I'm sure it looks extra special in such a beautiful place.
Yooper 08-20-2005, 01:06 AM AlaskaRidge,
How do you like your Ridge? I am curious about it driving on our wonderful road system. I hope to buy my Ridge soon. When I get it, we'll have to meet to get some pictures of them together. I know of about four here in Eagle River.
Did you buy yours in Fairbanks or did you come down here? I intend to call the dealer up there to see if they have what I want.
Let me know how yours does this winter.
