Hi all. New member here.
So, I've decided that I will purchasing/looking for a used Ridgeline sometime in October 08. Depending on the availability at that time, I'm looking specifically for a white with chrome trim, preferrably either a 2007 or 2008. Any tips on what to look for? I've read numerous reviews and from what I've read, it seems that this vehicle is rated very highly. Really all I'm looking for from the owners is an overall review, etc.
Thanks in advance.

I strongly second steveberger's recommendation to use the Ridgeline checklist. Best checklist I've ever seen for buying ANY vehicle...new or used.
As far as reviews, this one from US News & World Report is excellent.....

They rate the '08 Ridgeline as the Number One pickup in America. And if you check Consumer Reports, you'll see they gave the Ridgeline the highest rating they've ever given any pickup they've ever tested. And they also give it the highest customer satisfaction rating of any pickup ever. Obviously, you can't go wrong with a Ridgeline. And, perhaps most importantly, the RL has an extremely good reliability rating.
The downside is that the RL doesn't get the best gas mileage in the world (rated at 15 city/20 highway). But if you're looking for a pickup, none of them offer great gas mileage.
LOTS of great information about Ridgelines on this forum, so just do a search for any topic that you need more info on. Best of luck with your decision. You're already seriously considering a Ridgeline, so you MUST be a very intelligent person! :D :)

Thanks for the tips and checklist. I did come across this when I was lurking yesterday. I'm sure time will fly by the time Oct comes around. I just hope that the one I like will be available somewhere.:)

Heres my tip, buy it in the States and save yourself $12 000. :) I'm in the same boat as you are and am also looking for a white RL. I dont know your location in Canada but if you are anywhere near the border it is well worth your efforts to buy American. The price difference is appalling.
Good luck!

And if you are financing (which is doubtful if you are exporting it), don't forget to negotiate on the interest rate too!
