View Full Version : 2008 Meet Registration Is Now Open!

The main event site is up and has as many details as I can release at this point. It also includes the event registration which is now OPEN!

If you plan to attend the meet, you must register online in advance and pay in advance as well. You will not be fully registered until you are fully paid. If you are not fully registered, your name will not have a chance to appear on the plant tour list for Friday. By registering, there is still no guarantee of a tour spot. However, those who register early have a much better shot at being on the list, so don't wait - DO IT NOW!

PLEASE READ THE DETAILS ON EVERY PAGE OF THE REGISTRATION PAGES.

As we get more details finalized for the meet, we will announce them here on the forums and on the event site. If you have questions, we ask that you please post them on the forum so we can respond to them publicly for all to learn from.

Click here (http://www.hondaownersclubs.com/event2008) to view the 2008 International EOC/ROC Combo Meet event site.

After you have registered online - please reply to this thread with one single post so I can cross reference my lists. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS THREAD FOR OFF-TOPIC STUFF - just your single post. Thanks!

the numbers are an indication of order as well as a few test registrations that we performed. 1-7 were tests. Tom is 8 and I am 9, if that helps. :)

We are already up to almost 40 registrations! Pretty cool. :)

Thanks everyone. :)

Register Today! If we have to limit the number of members who go on the tour at Honda, those who register first will be given a bit more priority, although that's not the only factor.

Registered. HOC2008-94 Looking forward to it.94? wow!

That's a big number and not a lot of people posting here saying they are "in". .... I have to assume that registered people are not posting.

I don't know if a ROC meet can get any more impressive... come on now.... a HONDA plant and direct access to Ridgeline designers..... for all of you who say that you would tell the engineers this-or-that.... NOW IS YOUR CHANCE

I am seriously considering making the trek to this year's meet. My drivers and passenger’s window have 20% window tent, which is lighter than the rear windows – but not enough to show a difference from outside the car. Do you know if Ohio has strong laws against window tenting? I will be driving from AR to OH. Tennessee is good, as I have taken the car through that state without a problem. NJ was a problem. I didn't have a problem in Ohio back in 1989.

Many years ago (1989) when I had a Ford Taurus with all tinted side windows, every NJ police that I passed on the Turnpike would pull me over about the windows.

I would be more worried about the state you live in as they only allow 25% and lighter and you have 20%. If they allow you, I wouldn't expect any problems in other states.

Now saying that, I have had 20% (or darker) tint on my vehicles and I travel all over the place. Too numerous of times in other states than my license plate state. I've only been "looked at" once and that was in CT, where the officer turned around on the interstate and came up behind me for a few seconds and then pulled over and u-turned and left. States where I've driven with "illegal tint": AL, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, LA, MA, MD, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV

I have received traffic tickets in NY, CT and LA.... no mention of my illegal tint.

Sign up and have no worries

Are there any age restrictions? My two sons, ages 11 and 15 would like to attend. Can someone under 18 attend the manufacturing tour?

Ohio has a law for tinting and it's 50%. I have 20% on the front windows and stock tint on the rears.
I have driven all over the state with my truck and no problems

If you haven't registered yet, you won't be on the tour list, regardless (maximum number on the tour - not everyone will get to go and we have many registered already). That being said, those who get to go on the tour are only allowed one guest and they must be at least 14 years of age.
