Ontario Ridgeline Meet

I just thought I'd toss out this idea to see if there's any reaction. Anyone think it might be feasible to hold a weekend Ridgeline meet somewhere between Ottawa and Toronto? I'm thinking somewhere in between to make driving distances equal. Wide open to ideas here.

Anyone interested for a summer get together?????

For sure Herman....I'm thinking warm summer breezes not -20 and snow! Any ideas where we might hold it? Trenton, Belleville, etc....I've been driving the Ottawa / Toronto run all my life so it doesn't matter to me (brother is in Brampton, sister-in-law in Burlington).

Peterborough is nice. If you want someplace between Toronto and Ottawa...
But what about our friends in southwestern Ontario (Kitchener, London, Windsor)?
Oshawa might be more central for people, without going into the city.
Barrie might be nice if you want a nice place by the lake and cottage country.
Let's have a vote...

I'd be down. Taking delivery of my Nighthawk Blk Pearl 06 RTL w/24K miles in a week... coming up from the Southern US of A and my buddy down the street has a silver 07.

Tell me this...i drove his the other day for 130Km's and used a 1/4 tank. What shape is the tank in these things. Does the gauge slow down as you get closer the 1/2 way mark? Not to flog a dead horse but do you trucks get good, or just ok mileage? My Ford's 70ltr tank went about 400km in the city, 500 on hwy.

Love this Ridgline though, gotta say, smart layout and amazing handling.
Own a 67 GTX 440 car too if anyone wants to chat Mopar one day.

:cool: I'm down for whutev, I'm from Brampton and will travel anywhere we could get sum fresh air and maybe take my mtn bike for a spin...

Would be tight if we hit a sum off road trails too!! IMO ;)

I've got a brother in Brampton (Heart Lake) but he drives a crappy Montana! He's got a bike but it's a Harley Police Edition...he's with Peel Regional PF. There are Ridgelines in Brampton... a guy on his platoon has the 06 in Green.

lets do it in Ottawa, there are lots of parks there!!!
or better yet, we can do it during some local car show ,and get some SUPER EXPOSURE !!!!

We're game, always looking for an excuse for a road trip. We would be coming from the Ottawa area.

My suggestion is camping in algonquin park. Its not exactly close to anyone but if you can get time off and want to go to one of the nicest parks in the world.

My idea would be. Plan this year for next august, last week of august all the black flys are dead (usually), pick a site. We usually stay at "lake of two rivers" Not secluded but it has a store/restaurant there. You have to book early to get site though.

Anyway, just another idea.

I'd love to come out! I'm in Toronto, but I've been jonsing for a road trip! I've got some banked vacation time that needs to be used up. Oh, by the way, I'm a relative N00b :)
