jforget1 04-04-2008, 12:47 PM Always heard this one, but may actually have to keep it at 65 on the way to the meet, gonna cost enough as it is and this would save a good chunk over the whole trip.

Very nice, although I always seem to be the only one with the cold ones at these meets.

Or drive 10 miles per hour faster and enjoy 2 additional hours in Columbus sampling the "tasty beverages" of your choice! :D

The chairs are a safety net for the beers.
No big screen, but I did just add a Retrax bed cover, love it.

Now you do make a valid point and I really dislike driving slow, so this whole experiment could blow up about 5 mins into the trip.
Very nice, although I always seem to be the only one with the cold ones at these meets.:rolleyes:Not at the National... they are special. (reference CUinaRidge's beer pool)

jforget1 04-05-2008, 01:36 PM Wait for me I'll be right there!!!:DI guess a lot of this depends on the speed that the convoy wants to travel. Lil driving democracy.
Mtnman 04-05-2008, 09:11 PM Anybody interesed in driving down from Chi town on Thursday?:)
T Mac 04-05-2008, 09:55 PM Anybody interesed in driving down from Chi town on Thursday?:)
We could meet you along the way since we're from "downstate". We will probably be leaving early morning so we can get over there by 2pm-ish.
Mtnman 04-06-2008, 07:54 PM That has possibilities. Can't make a firm commitment yet, but don't see any reason that that won't work. We've been looking forward to a Indiana style pork tenderloin sandwich lunch.
CUinaRidge 04-07-2008, 06:36 AM We will probably be heading down Weds night.... by the time I reach Illinois in will probably be Thursday!! Much better driving around Chicago at 1 am or so in the morning...
I am thinking we may also hit the AF Museum Thurs am...
:)
HondaTech 04-07-2008, 06:49 AM I'm planning on leaving Milwaukee around 3 or 4 am.... gets me through Chicago before rush hour and puts me in Ohio around noon. As a note about the AF museum anyone coming west of Columbus should stop there. I was undecided before I looked at it's position on the map. If you drive through Indy, you pass right by it.

Nicholas 04-07-2008, 08:12 AM OK, anyone coming up from the south eastern states (Florida - Georiga - etc.) ???
