Hi, just bought a 2008 Ridgeline from the States and imported into Canada a week ago. It is a nice pickup, but I would like the navigation system to display information in french, so my girlfriend could use it... I know it exists because Ridgelines sold in the province of Quebec have french displays and voice.:) .. Now how to fix my american Ridgeline to speak and write in french ?? :confused: A different DVD ?? I have looked everywhere in the system setup but could not find a lead. Can anyone help ??

Your US-spec navigation unit may have to be flashed with the CDN-spec software. This procedure cannot be performed by your dealer as the only way to overcome your problem may be to have the dealer send in or swap your unit in exchange with a CDN-spec box.
