Threads on this before.....MikeT may have some input on this....I remember he did an install with pictures....I also remember the S.I.L.V.E.R. chips are the best.....
steveberger 04-16-2008, 10:44 AM If a relatively inexpensive chip could give increased fuel milage with increased performance, don't you think Honda would put it in. I call BS!
ddawson 04-16-2008, 04:55 PM WOW 70HP as well. I had to spend 6 grand on my GTO for that.
It's junk.
csimo 04-16-2008, 05:00 PM Wow, what a device! Adds 70HP, and 25MPG (so you'll be getting about 45MPG with your Ridgeline). Not only that but it finally solves that age old problem: world peace.
Install this and all your days will be sunny and warm.
Install this and your arthritis will never bother you again.
Install this and you're wife/husband/significant other will suddenly look irresitable all the time.
Back to reality: Install this and I guarantee the following: your wallet will be lighter. Nothing else.
Back to reality: Install this and I guarantee the following: your wallet will be lighter. Nothing else.with a lighter wallet, that WILL increase your MPG as you'll be transporting less weight, so it does work to a lesser degree :D
ChrisM 04-16-2008, 05:17 PM What are you guys talking about?
All of these $5 trinkets increase DO increase gas mileage and horsepower.
I installed them all.... SIMULTANEOUSLY!
My Ridgeline now has 3000 horsepower and gets 257 miles to the gallon AND as a side benefit picks up every loose piece of metal on the road as I drive over it because of the 22 magnets that I have installed along the fuel line!
Tcape 04-16-2008, 07:26 PM Well...if I can say this politely...to quote PT Barnum, "A sucker is born every minute." Buy this gadget and PT Barnum will love you....even though he's dead.

The photo's tell the story.

2Hondas 04-17-2008, 05:23 AM Here's another one.
Transform Fuel for Increased Fuel Efficiency and Maximum Performance - Fitch Fuel Catalyst (http://www.fitchcatalyst.com)
They make some really nice claims. I wonder if this isn't a lead polymer packed in a filter casing that slowly dissolves into the gas. They are $200 to $300 at Summit Racing.
NJ RTL 04-17-2008, 05:34 AM If there is any question left in your mind...these things would aspire to be BS
