ROBSRIDGE1106 04-30-2008, 10:36 PM Hello. I'm the Regional Manager of a national Car Audio Retailer. I had 4 10's in a down fire box under the back seat with no problems. The bass was not deep enough so we just finished the box for two 12". The key to good sound is having the right air space. I would look into the Kenwood Excelon 12" flats. The model number is kfcxw1200f. They sound awesome and you could make either a downfire box or have them facing up. Great sound very deep and accurate. If you want good sound spend the extra money and get a custom box. Good Luck!
