Those of you with the PAC interfaces and have a successfully working MODE button, any of you did the steering wheel up-conversion? The one where you add the stereo controls to the wheel?
I have added the controls in addition to the PAC ECL2 for my Eclipse 5510, but I cannot get the Mode button to program at all. I even had a local installer see if they could program it, but that was a no go. He did try with the different mentioned resistors.
He asked if the ground has a specific resistance on it or not.. but I do not know.
Strange thing is that the rest of the buttons work, up vol, down vol, up track, down track... but the buttons have to be programed in order? up vol, down vol, mode, up track, down track.
Any ideas/suggestions from those that did the up conversion?
