Cheers!
methodtim 08-22-2005, 08:58 PM I like Sam Adams Light and Red Hook ESB.
Edit: I can't believe I've already forgotten this. I just returned from Eastern Europe, and I have to say I really liked a lot of the beers I had over there; however, I couldn't read their names or reproduce them in the English alphabet to save my life. One beer in particular stood out though. The beer is called Budvar and is brewed in a town called Budweiser in Lithuania. In fact, this beer in the original Budweiser. Legend (urban or otherwise) has it that the original brewer of the US Budweiser (was it Mr. Anheiser or Mr. Busch, I can never remember) went over to this town and basically stole the recipe. AB then had the audacity to sue Budvar over the naming rights to the Budweiser brand of beer. For what it's worth, Budvar tastes NOTHING like the US Budweiser, which is a great thing because I think Bud tastes like a$$.
Note: For the sake of full disclosure, I have to admit that I drink Coors Light voluntarily and I actually enjoy it (sometimes). Take whatever I have to say about beer with that big grain of salt. :)
Edit #2: Here's a pic of Budweiser Budvar Premium Lager:
Lingered_I 08-22-2005, 09:22 PM Boddingtons - great since 1778, and brewed in my home town.

Kellcut 08-22-2005, 09:34 PM I like Yuengling Lager, a Pennsylvania beer made at the oldest brewery in the US. Next favorite is Schell's Firebrick, brewed in New Ulm, MN... second oldest brewery :) I do like Newcastle also :)

I'm partial to Yuengling too. One of the best that I've found this side of the pond.
Know what we say about Bud, Miller, Coors etc etc?
They're like making love in a boat.

H20MAN 08-22-2005, 10:39 PM This past summer we were "wasting away again in Margarittaville" in Vegas watching scantily clad women go down the slide into a Margaritta glass at Jimmy Buffets place and they had a "loaded Corona" they topped off your Corona with a shot of lime Tequila. Whoa man was that dangerous, and I have pics to prove it, but will not post them.....
Yooper 08-22-2005, 10:43 PM Alaskan pale Ale is primo!!! 2nd is their Summer Ale or their Amber.
Some of the local restaurants brew their own beer. Glacier Brewhouse is excellent as is Snow Goose beer.
The Glacier Brewhouse beer batter deep fried halibut is "to die for" It's made with their own beer and fresh Alaskan halibut. :D
Once we move to Maine, we're gonna have to find a good local microbrewery.

I bought a case of this about 20 minutes ago on your suggestion.......I'm digging it :D
STEVE FROST 08-23-2005, 06:52 PM Chateau du hops and barly, it is all good.
I prefer lighter beers in the hot weather, Pacifico with a lime or a good weat beer with lemon. As the weather gets cooler I turn to Sierra Pale ale or Gordon Bierch Marzen.
When its cold bring on the Porters and Stouts.
As for Stouts try a Austrailian one called Sheaf, I am pretty sure it is brewed with suconal, every one that trys a pint falls asleep about half way through.
Life is to short to drink cheap beer. Not that I have not had a few ice cold Bud's that I enjoyed. Beer is like sex the worst I ever had was wonderful. There is a slight difference if having to much makes you hug the toilet you have a really ugly partner.
mayfielh 08-23-2005, 10:28 PM It depends on the environment in which I am consuming the nectar.
After a hard day of laboring in the yard a bottle of Hoegaarden (sorry no pun intended) is just the thing to cool you down. Its a spicy refreshing beer kind of hard to find but worth a try.
Most consumed beers any old time (in no particular order):
Guinness
Terminal Gravity IPA
Pyramid IPA
Widmer Hefe
Hoegaarden
mike kennedy 08-24-2005, 10:34 AM Everyone who I offer this beer to thinks it's great especially out here in Az where it's hot and dry. It's best at Risky Business in their 23 oz frozen mug, with a lemon 'wedge' of course!

johnnymoorey 03-05-2012, 05:18 AM I am not regular drinker of beer but some time occasionally I am having it. Tusker beer. It is available in many African countries like Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania etc. It is low content of alcohol and taste is also good. It is not effecting me on my mind when I drink cause of low alcohol percentage.
Elkhunter 03-05-2012, 07:38 AM Got to go with a Yeti espresso stout.
My two favorites right now are Georgetown Brewing Manny's Pale Ale and Rogue Dead Guy Ale.
John's Ridge 03-05-2012, 08:19 PM As the Irish say, "mothers milk"
Guinness
laserguy 03-05-2012, 08:58 PM I am not a regular alcohol drinker, but I tend to like the flavor of wheat beer.
groupset 03-05-2012, 09:04 PM Shiner Bock - "Every drop of Shiner is made in Shiner." Loved this stuff from the first one I had; still my favorite!
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y282/groupset/shiner.jpg
Seamonkeyminer 03-05-2012, 09:23 PM I would say for microbrews either:
Great White - Lost Coast Brewing
Firestone DBA - Firestone Walker Brewing
Can't go wrong with most stuff from Samuel Adams, pretty good seasonal stuff.
