I just bought a 2008 RT and noticed the stock radio has XM ready labeled on the front faceplate. Do I need to buy another head unit to subscribe to this service? Or is the one I have truly ready??

You will have to add the receiver. lizzurd 05-05-2008, 07:12 AM H&A sells the XM reciever for $228.00 Honda Ridgeline Accessories - Genuine Factory Honda Accessories, made by Honda for your Honda. Tcape 05-06-2008, 07:36 PM You may already know this, but you can buy a portable XM radio that will tune to the FM frequency of your choice on your regular radio. Obviously, the portable unit can be also be used in your home or shop. I've been using one of these for a couple of years and they work great. And you can buy an XM radio on eBay that will work on your "XM ready" radio for less than the dealer will charge you for the XM unit. (See recent posts.) | |
