Friday Elp Tour List

The following is the list of 150 who are on the list to attend the Friday festivities at Honda's East Liberty Plant. The day includes lunch, some presentations and a tour of their plant. There will also be a reception outside later in the day (see the Friday schedule (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46378) for details).

IMPORTANT NOTES
No cameras or cell phones are allowed inside the plant
No open toe/open back shoes
Guests must be at least 14 years old

If your user name is on the list twice below, it indicates that we have you down as bringing a guest with you. If you bring more than one guest - THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO. Honda will require you and your guest to display photo identification before entering their plant. They will be working from a more detailed version of the list below.

If your name is on this list and you are not coming to the meet or if you will not be able to attend Friday's activities, please let us know ASAP.

We want to depart from the official hotel parking lot (area) on Friday mid-morning. YOU MUST BE CHECKED IN WITH EVENT STAFF BEFORE YOU CAN GO TO EAST LIBERTY (lanyard, badge, t-shirt, etc.) PLEASE HELP US OUT...CHECK IN THURSDAY NIGHT OR EARLY FRIDAY MORNING BUT PLEASE...PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. We are trying our best to coordinate things with about 175-200 people this year. IF YOU CAN'T CHECK IN BEFORE 8-9am ON FRIDAY OF THE MEET, PLEASE CONSIDER SKIPPING OUT ON THIS PART OF THE WEEKEND.

And finally, I want to remind everyone that Honda does give tours on occasion but it is truly a lot of work and effort on their part to do what they are doing for us on Friday (and Saturday). Please show them how much we appreciate it by thanking them and by being respectful and attentive.

Wow this is a real buzz kill. Not on the list. I am hoping there may be room for one more. Driving 12-14 hours to an event to not be going on the main tour is not a really great time. The payment check is literally in the mail, and I do apologize for the delay. I am sure that is why I did not make the cut. Any chance of a little flexibility here. Really not sure I want to drive all this way if I will not be in on this event. Have been looking forward to this for months.

We have a waiting list already. Your name is on it, but there are several in front of you. I understand the situation.

For anyone in this situation....if you choose to back out and not make the drive, we totally understand and we will issue a full refund if you cancel by Sunday night of this week.

OK that is good, I think as long as the "non-listers" will be able to be at the plant at least to tailgate then I am in, with only 15 at a time on the tour there will be 135 who are not on the tour and that is a good group to hang out with. And maybe I will get lucky and get to go on the tour.

11:00-11:30 am Guests arrive at ELP: Check-in, begin lunch in Liberty Hall
11:30 -12:00 Lunch served to 150 people and continue to eat during presentations
12:00-1:00 Presentations
1:00 - 2:45 Plant tours (10 groups of 15)
3:00 - 4:00 Element tailgate reception in the front of ELP (cancel if rain)
4:00 Depart from ELP

Can you confirm if people not on the tours will be able to get past security into the parking area where the 150 will be meeting or will those not on the list, be allowed into the area where people will be meeting at all. If there is an exclusion from the entire day then this is a whole other deal. The fun of these is getting together meeting everyone. Sitting on the outside of the fence, is not all it is cracked up to be.

By all means!! Had I made the trip I was going to take an extra day on the way home to check it out. I have been to the Navy Museum in Pensacola and the Air Force facility at Eglin and I hear they in no way compare to the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton.:cool:

Oooohhhh they have an IMAX theatre and the current show is something called Fighter Pilot. Now that must be quite a ride. OK who is in for a trip to the Air Force Museum.

Well if there are any guests who are thinking all these tours and honda stuff may be too much and want to hang back, the donation of a tour spot would be greatly appreciated. You can have first dibs at the hammocks hanging off the back of my truck, they are legendary at the meets.

PS3 name is tek210, but I am still learning on the COD4, I am basically the easy target at this point. Have improved on some of my other games, the racing ones are stating to get easier.

Nice I will send you a friends invite when I get home today. I got my Ps3 back Monday so I have been playing a lot of GTA4. I'm getting close to the third island. It takes some time to get use to the different games. :)
