Pizza Man 06-04-2008, 06:42 AM Now that the National Meet attendance is firmed up, ONDLINKS and I think it's time to consider another Cape May, NJ Meet. Mid-October would be the time frame.
Is there any interest in another Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Region Meet?
For those newer members who aren't familiar with the first Cape May Meet, here's a link (http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/mid-atlantic-ridgeline-owners/10685-cape-may-meet-photos.html).
25 Year Honda Owner 06-04-2008, 07:06 AM Sounds like fun!! 856 miles for me; too far!!:( How about half the distance and Roanoke at 435 miles!! :)
doesn't sound like it would be particularly warm, but gotta be warmer than 32 degrees (Mystic Seaport Meet)... eh, maybe not.... I'm in
ONDLINKS 06-04-2008, 11:23 AM I'm in! :)
Pizza Man 06-04-2008, 11:25 AM doesn't sound like it would be particularly warm
Back in '06 we did it on Oct 20th. A light jacket was all that was needed. If the Mason-Dixon line was extended further east, Cape May would be south of it.
dgntlk 06-04-2008, 11:30 AM I'm in... Add me to the list:D
MoosePond 06-04-2008, 11:40 AM as long as it's not the weekend of October 10-12 (when my HS is finally having a class reunion) then I'd be amenable to heading down to Cape May as it's only about 200 miles from here and should be able to do it on a single tank of what will probably be $5/gal gas.

I'm thinking the weekend of the Oct. 18/19. Nothing is cast in stone at this point, just fishing for interest.
romeofrosty 06-05-2008, 07:41 AM I'm already there! (I won't even have to remove that driveshaft to save some gas! ;) :D ) (yes..the lighthouse and "Harpoon Henry's are both inside my jurisdiction)

djeaux 06-05-2008, 08:23 AM Okay, why am I being used to promote this "event" so far away that I couldn't possibly attend & be ticketed.
What? No "J" in "deaux"... Nevermind :o

What? No "J" in "deaux"... Nevermind I was waiting for someone to say something. I guess French is not Pizza's thing. Pizza=Italian<>French.
Shall I correct the title? (deux)
djeaux 06-05-2008, 08:48 AM Shall I correct the title? (deux)
No. Evidently, I need all the name recognition I can get, especially if I'm not going within 500 miles of that speed trap, er, ROC rally ;) J/K, J/K, honnish ossifer, I'm J/K!
I think he meant "deaux" as in "the dough that the justice court is gonna rake in!" :D

Does this mean we can get an "official" police motorcycle escort for a Ridgeline "parade"?
Pizza Man 06-05-2008, 09:16 AM I guess French is not Pizza's thing. Pizza=Italian<>French.
Nope, not my thing. Neither is typing! :o

Please deux.

You'll have to talk to the Chief about that.....I wish you luck!
Sorry Keith..Accords are fair game. After all, this IS a Ridgeline forum. ;) :eek: In fact, some members have PMed me, offering me some incentives for;
a) writng you a summons
b) towing the Accord
c) utilizing pepper spray and/ or nightstick
d) all of the above :D

d) all of the above :DIt appears that I might become infamous by participating in an OJ Simpson-like-low-speed-chase, while I am leaning out my window while screaming, "the gloooooove doooooesnnnnnn't fiiiiiiiiiit!"
I choose b) towing me around as that would save me a lot of gas. :D

QUOTE: "Just when I figured this wouldn't go anywhere, welcome Ubolt. We'll be happy to have you"
Wouldn't go anywhere, are you kidding.
When the PIZZA MAN and the ever missing, never to found, STUGOTS organize another meet, ROC'ers would be crazy not to come and join the fun.
It's the only reason I keep coming back and checking in . . . to see if you are going to do it again.
ONDLINKS 06-13-2008, 07:01 AM Just when I figured this wouldn't go anywhere, welcome Ubolt. We'll be happy to have you.
Yep, I count 10 who show interest already. :)
mdwalls 06-13-2008, 07:12 AM Wine or Scotch ?
Pizza Man 06-13-2008, 07:24 AM I was hoping things would stir. With 10 interested so far this could be as big as Long Island.
When you guys get to the National grab hold of dbb, let him know we're going to do it again. Maybe he'll come with a revised Jeopardy game. Don't forget Shorty, either.
Start thinking about afternoon activities. Do we want to do the dealership thing again? Anybody up for an afternoon boat cruise? Zoo?
63Tbird 06-13-2008, 07:37 AM Wine or Scotch ?
Bud, if it before dinner, my guess would be the Wine . . .
After dinner, definately the Scotch . . .
