If I can get at least 15 buyers, I can get the RidgeBak down to $675 including shipping to either a business or residential address.

Whats the difference between the ridgebak and the tiltbak? All I need is a deal on the truck and you can count me in.

There is no difference, Bak originally created the separate name for the Ridgeline model just to set it apart from the other vehicles. Call it whatever you want, Tiltbak or RidgeBak - they are both a great cover!

The RidgeBak goes truck freight, so it should be roughly a week from the time the order is placed until delivery

There are 2 door knob size nuts on the undeside at the front, you remove them and lift the cover off. Total time I would say is less than 5 minutes counting walking around from one side to the other:D

Any chance we can conbine the group buy to include your choice of the BakFlip or the RidgeBak to get the numbers up. ???

They are about the same price but the RidgeBak has a different pricing and for me to get the group buy approved I have to have at least 15 RidgeBak buyers, if I get over 15 for the Ridgebak, then I can combine the 2

I might be interested in participating in this, if it was to occur around the middle of the month... How many do you have so far?

I don't know why anyone would want to buy this type of cover. If you need to remove it to hall anything why put it on in the first place:confused: I personally have a Retrax which I love:cool: But I would put any of the other covers that are available (Jackrabbit,Rolltop,Backflip,ect)on before I put a flip top(tilt back) on my RL:eek:

I'm glad to see so many different covers now available for our truck. I have the infamous BasicKoncept cover that still serves my needs. I'm looking to replace it at some point, maybe in a year or two. I've been looking at the ones offered now and the Ridgebak would be something I'd consider. Removing it for planned hauling doesn't look like a big deal. My wife can help remove it when the need occurs. :)

I like the Retrax but not the canister that takes up to much room in the bed for what I use the truck for. Coming up will be my 3rd trip to Myrtle Beach with 4 adults, 4 good sized golf bags and a weeks worth of luggage. It all fits in the bed with little room to spare. The retrax would present a problem in this case. The ridgebak would work fine and may be easier to access the bed than the fold back I have now.

In any case, I think it depends on your needs.

Can I still get in on this group buy? I'd love to have one of these if I can get in on the deal.

I'm sorry guys but I ended up only getting about 6 members info and cannot fulfill this group buy. However, anyone that gives me a call for this group buy and wants to order by the end of this month, I will honor a price of $750 delivered.
