I finally sat down and tallied the number of attendees over the course of the weekend. There were 25 Ridgelines and 82 Elements with a grand total of 173 people.
JuliE, thanks for the numbers and thanks again for all the work you guys put in!!!

Was that with K757 as a Ridgeline or an Accord???

At least someone would have enjoyed what was going on on the Factory floor. ;) J/K It was the CR-Vs that were rolling off the production line while we were there.
They had only started the Es at 1 and they had not made it very far by the time the tour started.

I counted K757 as a Ridgeline, so I guess I cheated on the numbers. (It's just that he's still a Ridgeline owner at heart!)

Once again, Keith gets cheated... first when he got rid of his Ridgeline and now being counted as a Ridgeline...

Oooh, rub it in, feel the BURN.

It was more like a curve ball, to be precise. A 100MPH one to be even more so.
BatteryGurl is named BatteryGurl on the ROC for a reason...... she needed a jump at Sonic on Thursday night.
(if you read that "straight", it is what was meant :D )

Wow - talk about slamming this poor girl. She cannot help it if she was in need and a big, burly, Ridgeline was able to help jump her and get her going....
Remind me - positive to positive and negative to negative? Or, just lick your fingers and see if it sparks...

Speaking of batteries the proper way to set up jumper cables is : Booster battery (good one) gets both cables ( +,-) and the dead battery gets the + and the - goes to ground. There was some confusion and/or debate about where the cables connect. At some point I think we were even trying to connect the - cable to the frame on the good battery  . Finally someone just decided to connect - 2 - and + 2 +. I was looking at the manual today to refresh myself on the recommended process. Either way we got that E running again.:D

An Element needed a jump? Wow, I guess the wrong element got too low.

The only reason many manuals tell you not to connect the negative jumper cable to the negative terminal on the dead battery is because batteries produce hydrogen gas. They can and have exploded.
You can hook the negative jumper cable to the battery on both, the battery on one and frame ground on the other, or both frame grounds. Doesn't matter as long as current can flow.
In the old days we only used one cable... the positive cable between the two batteries and the metal bumpers were touching.
We won't confuse things by explaining that the electrons are really running from negative to positive (opposite of what most think).

Man that goes back a long way!! I remember doing this many times!! In those days if you did not carry jumper cables you better park on a hill!!

And (I've just got to ask it) how was Fred Flinstone for a neighbor growing up? I heard he hit Wilma around when no one was looking and really wasn't that friendly. Plus, even when sober, he'd walk around with no pants on.

Well, that WAS more interesting when Wilma wasn't wearing her undergarments. I have a thing for smart red heads. :D
Maybe in a years or so time I'll be healthier and more capable to go! EVERY damn year I'm set to go to the Sedona meet here in AZ, I have health issues come up. Last year I was sick, this year I had SEVERE reflux issues. Maybe it is a sign... :D
Ah, who am I kidding! I'd LOVE to meet some of the troublemakers from this site.

Ups, this time I have to agree with a Ridgie. The biggest trouble maker of ROC site was sitting in HER nice chair with the beer, while the cooler twister and what not was going on in the parking lot. X-Brawn, for the TM you will have to join the other side:D

What?!? Trade in my CR-V for the box on wheels? Hmmm... there is one advantage. You can configure the seats to make a double bed and then put an air mattress on top. Hmmm... ULSUV? Ultimate Lovin' Sluttin' Utility Vehicle? I can see that describing the Element.

It was a great turn out and a great time had by all.
If you missed it for whatever reason, you will want to be sure you make the next one.
