I was kicking myself on the drive home as I replayed the weekend in my head. I realized that I did not clearly thank the many other volunteers who made the meet a success. So, let me post here for all to read...
I truly appreciate the help and support of the many volunteers who helped at check-in (when it was INSANE in the hotel lobby), led caravans, gave directions, helped move things, carried things, cooked things, looked at long lists and count, etc.
You guys gave us opportunities to relax at times and to experience more of the meet. Thank you!
I was explaining to some of you that, for me, these meets are truly about "community". We come to the meets as strangers. We become friends and we often leave as family. Julie and I feel blessed to have an extended family all over North America. Thanks for having our backs and you know we've got yours any time as well.
