Hey, anyone come up with an alternative to teh factory fogs? I know years ago i had a 94 civic and there were companies out there that had exact replicas of the for kits. They hooked up to the factory harness and even had an OEM style switch.

Just curious

So far, no OEM-like alternatives. Because the Ridgeline OEM fogs require cutting the plastic on the bumper, the mounting system is a little more complex than on a Civic or Accord where there are removable plugs where the fogs go. Also, the potential sales for an OEM-like alternative would be pretty low for the Ridge. That's been an issue with all our aftermarket stuff.

I was refering to a 94 civic. Which also had to have the bumper cut out for the fogs to be fitted in. I really wish i can find that company. Anyway im going to keep looking. If i uncover anything i'll post it.

Anyone find any good deals on the OEM kits yet than? All i have found is 246.00. Im going to check what my price at work is and see if its any better.

Thanks.

There pretty easy. The installation instructions actually tell you on the last 2 pages.

I read somewhere that Hella made the OEM fogs for Civics & Accords (at least at one point in history). Who manufactures the Ridgeline OEM fogs?

Thats a good question.

I did find those aftermarket replica sets for the civic and accords but thats the only ones they seem to make them for. I guess the Ridgeline just isnt popular enough for them to make the kit.
