ROC in Tempe with Civics??

My old club is having a meet on July 26th which is Saturday. They are meeting in the east parking lot kind of in the middle by Harkins Theater. I would like it if we could get together and combine forces. They have 11 people on their roster so far. This is 3 weeks in advance and I will be bringing soda and water. Let me know if you want to come. I will keep a roster for us. :):) Oh and it is at 7 pm.

No no no, the Harkins I am talking about is at the Tempe Marketplace. That new outdoor strip mall area right by the 202 and the 101 on McClintock and Rio Salado. We arn't meeting "at" the Harkins but out in the parking lot in the back. Harkins just happens to be in the back.

Voices and Smokin Ace, you two have a couple weeks to plan it would be great to get some of you to come hang out. The civic guys are all pretty young but I don't think they will mind one to see some other hondas. I think if we all combine forces so there are more people around we might get some new people to come out also. You know how it is.

I think I can make it, sans sound system, but I can't garuntee I'll have the back seat in yet. Maybe I'll have my son drive my little fast and furious civic to the meet as well. I'll be posting some pics in another thread about whats going on with it, but right now it doesn't look pretty.

Bring yourself, your beautiful truck, you son and your sons civic and have a good ol time. Bring lawn chair's or camping chair's also... so you don't have to stand in the parking lot. I know you have knee problems so just to forwarn you. :) We might meet at tempe and cruise over to the pavillions for the car show, but last time we did that the McDonalds people were mad so we might not. I will definitely have soda and water on ice for everyone though.

It seems like this meet is going to be pretty decent.

I wish I could be there. Unfortunately, work just won't let it happen (I'm working weekend night shifts thru October). Otherwise, I'd be there in a heartbeat!

Man what a crazy storm last night. I hope no one was hurt or that anyones home or vehicle was damaged. My neighbor's tree fell through his living room lastnight. They said up to 70MPH Gusts of wind. Everyone still cool to roll on the 26th?? I can't wait more people keep getting added.

It is Red, but I am not familiar enough yet with Ridgeline to know what color red it is. I will post pictures tomorrow or next week.

I reminded her that it's Monsoon season and that we will be getting wet and more importunely that my Ridgeline is going to get dirty. She calmly replied that I was whining and that my license plate on the Ridgeline is "HIKER1". The dirt would add character.

I am down with a pretty nasty cold. We will have to see how I feel by then. I also would have to ok it with the "Boss".

I plan on being there, but my Ridgeline is having warranty items taken care of at the dealer and they say I should get it back on Friday. If I get it back on friday then I will definately be there.

Those hatchies RAWK! Never in my life had I imagined that tiny little car being able to fit comfortably legs...lol but man.... again awesome event! all around... the guys were cool, the night was hot literally as well lol... but a blast an evening!!!! Thank you for coming! I know the civic crowd is a tad bit young, but you know what they were still impressed by our rides. We had 32 car's and 4 trucks show plus whomever rode with people. I think we had around 50 people. Me and my buddy from 8thgen will be hosting another meet soon so check up so you don't miss it!! We were big enough that the security called the cops and I had to explain a little bit. Next time I will call Vand whom owns the lot and have a spot roped off/reserved for us hopefully.

That was always the problem we ran into with our car club. The cops always showed up so we finally had to call the owner and get a area designated.
