have an xm unit and want to connect it to my radio

hi i brought an CommanderMT its hook up by an fm transmiter and it sounds terrible, i was wondering if i can hook it up directly to my radio. i have an 2006 rt and as i can see from the radio it says its xm ready and it has a botton for xm and aux, it will be great if u guys can help me out, thanks

You can interface your XM receiver with the OEM radio using an auxiliary input device. This will allow the audio to be played over the Honda sound system. The XM button on your radio will continue to do nothing.
