There are seven weeks to go till the 2008 All California Ridgeline Meet in Yosemite. I have been looking forward to this for the last six months.

Who is going? Who is not? and who are maybes? Last count there were likely more than twenty going and possibly more that had not replied.

My timing stinks. I just camped there with my Ridge and pop-up.

I would love to attend...this event is the same weekend as my graduation; as such I have to decline.

Any and all that can make it would be great. I have already reserved two sites that can accomodate up to thirty people per site. Even if you are just a ridgeline wannabee, this would give you an opportunity to see 4 model years in action, that is if there should be an 09 owner in the group.

Is everyone still on vacation? I appear to be the only yes so far. In May there were at least twenty for Yosemite. There are five weeks till the All Cal Meet. I have been looking forward to this ever since the notion of Yosemite was brought up. I certainly hope that many of us can make it.

Where is everyone that said they wanted to have this meet in Yosemite. Only 7 have responded to this poll so far. I plan way way ahead and have anticipated this trip since its inception. I will try and drum up some interest in the local ridgeline owners that I know, but most people in Humboldt county fee the same way about living so far north, is that everything is so far away. The trip alone for me to Yosemite will probably top 1000 miles when I am done. If my truck gets 20 mpg for an average, the gas will be close to 50 gallons or $200 give or take.

I have to vote no, because of the drive. But, I can assure that if I could I would be there with bells on.

I also have to say no, mostly because I didn't know about the meet until just now. I'd have to stay at the lodge, and all that's not in my budget.
Dang.

'Did not know about the 'yea or nea' poll. I can't make it this time. I had posted be below on "the other" thread for this event. Have fun for us all.

Hey Gang,
I've been monitoring this closely in anticipation of planning to attend. But . . . my better half finally has a date for hip replacement surgery, and it will be on Sept 18th, which definitely puts the squash on our being able to join you all. Maybe next time. Have fun!

Last Thursday I made three batch's of Salsa ( hot, medium and mild ), 41 jars at 105 cups total. I am hoping to get another lug or two of tomatoes tomorrow from my friend and peppers from the farmers market and do at least 30 cups more. I want to have enough to take to give away and some left at home to last the year. I also want to make a super hot batch for the brave ones.

Yesterday morning, I made 67 more cups of salsa ( 26 assorted jars ) in Super hot and Extra mild. I have made 176 cups of Salsa this year and still have about 20 pounds of tomatoes for making stewed tomatoes. I will be bringing Extra mild, Mild, Medium, Hot and Super hot.

Martin, I would love to be there, but it's not in the cards this year. This whole UDOT mess is coming to a head right now with construction set to begin within weeks. I can hardly think beyond making it to work and getting through the days I don't have to go to the office. We're simply in too much upheaval. Getting far, far away to a stunningly beautiful place on the planet - one I've yet to see in person, no less - sounds better than anything, but we have far too many changes going on.

You all have a blast and I'm expecting to see some fabulous photos! :D

So far it looks like maybe six of us from three sites are going to the meet, at least those that have contacted me. I did, however, send well over 100 email alerts ( yes that was me,:D:p ) to California ridgeline owners from the three clubs, of the upcoming All Cal Ridgeline meet at Yosemite. I probable only got about a dozen responses. The polls I started show a possible 6 going and several maybes. Who knows, many of the alerts I sent out may bring in a large crowd of ROC members anyway. There is enough room for sixty at the two group sites; that is sixty people, not sixty trucks. Four trucks or cars per group site. It will be four more days for me, I am leaving here Friday morning for Yosemite.
