I am looking at the Hard Hat Premier or the Bakflip. I want one that keeps water out the most or known to. I also want one where the trunk will open without a problem. I also have a bed extender and want one that won't interfere. Anyone with feedback or reccomendations is greatly apprecaiated. Also great site, I was very excited to find this site.

Pretty much any cover that requires rails to be installed inside the side wall area will restrict the trunk lid somewhat.

The BAKflip G2 has several people reporting zero to very minimal water penetration. With the added ability to completely remove the cover by one person. I'm not sure if the Hard Hat can do that.

Many people never think the bed cover issues through completely -- they just know they want one. I think that's why a lot of soft tonneaus are sold -- cheapest and quickest answer, which typically ends up being a royal pain come cold weather. Because the snaps are really hard to reattach on most of them.

So be sure you catalog your requirements thoroughly. Having complete water deterrance might mean a very difficult time removing the cover which might mean zero usability for hauling bulky items. But it may look cool!
