Thumb/Zip drive aux port?

Was wondering if any of you techies have figured a way to access a thumb drive with file folders of music to play in or on the factory radio.

I have a 2008 Ridge with the NAV and Satellite, but the trend with most of the folks around here is to swap radios out with units that have ports for plugging in something like an 8g thumb drive with their music folders for quick one click choosing of music styles. I don't want to swap radios with such a nice system like the factory unit I have.

I see lots of after market DVD players also have the option of using a SCAN disk or USB port for using external type hard drives.

My real preferrence would be to be able to use a USB port to play video over the NAV screen... Doubt that is an option, maybe video but not sound, however, if I am wrong, please fill in the details of what I can do to get maximum usage from this factory unit. Thanks

To the best of my knowledge this is asking too much of the factory system. I did put USB ports in my ridge, but they connect to an aftermarket carpc - not the stock system.

The Nav version of the 2009 Pilot has a USB input, but that has not trickled down to the Ridgeline yet. We have a Pilot EXL-REV & even with the DVD system & all those goodies, they didn't include a direct USB input.

(I also have a USB interface, but like Josh, I use it as a carpc controller.)
