the TITAN Air Jack: Chandler Products (http://www.airjackusa.com/)

Anyone seen this thing? Looks like an awesome idea. Jack up your truck with the power of your exhaust. Jack is useable in mud, snow, sand, etc. and lifts two wheels at a time.

Thoughts?

Interesting product....
I just wonder if the nature of the large upper surface of the jack would put too much pressure on the delicate sheet metal of the truck as opposed to on the jacking point.

I also can't wait to see the youtube videos of this in use by Johnny Novice. Between burning themselves on the exhaust, asphxiating themselves in the garage, and bending the doors off the vehicles, I think this is something that will prove to be dangerous to put in the hands of the routine ding-a-ling we share the road with.

That said, its a very unique idea and I do see how useful it would be, especially if you needed to swap a tire on a beach or something.

We use a simillar system to raise aircraft off of runways. The pressure in the bags only gets to like 7 PSI. I dont know what those on the site get to, but i couldnt imagine a lot more than that. So i doubt there would be much bending of metal.

I too want to see jackasses hurting themselves with this on YouTube. The misfortune of others is one of my favorite leisure activities.

I also agree that it's a novel ideal.

On a scale of one to ten... that comment was about a 0.5 compared to what really goes on in my head... This forum is not ready for 100% OSP.
