Can anyone recommend a good window tinting facility in the Orlando Area?
I am looking to tint the windows on the ridge...Also what are the laws regarding window tinting our Ridgelines? How Dark?
Car tint laws are a bit different than trucks. The tint place will know.
When I lived in FL, I tinted the front doors 20%, and also tinted the rear doors and back windows 20% (which made them a net of 5%... I had them tested)

Sorry I've used Sunbusters in Melbourne forever and dont know anything about Orlando. As far as the shading anything rear of the front seat can be as dark as you want, driver and passenger window & windshield (which I wouldnt do) can be 20% I think. Its really up to you because some tinters will give you black if you dont care about a warranty or the fact that if you get a cop with an attitude he can have you remove it.
Its really up to you because some tinters will give you black if you dont care about a warrantyI've experienced the shops where they would give you the tint warranty (and they do honor it), but you would pay in cash so there was no record of your transaction (no credit card trail). At a different place, I had to sign a waiver saying that I accept the darker tint (20% front doors) at my own risk. A third place I've had work done told me that he had to explain what was legal but would do whatever you want. But I have not experienced a tint installer that did not warranty their work.
Only once did I come across a shop that would only do the legal limit. so I walked :p
I always ask if there is a "cash" price. :D

If you drive in GA ask for the legal limit and/or expect attention...gas crunch, etc.

Here are two I have used in the past...
Ricks Window tinting he's been around for atleast 20 years. He's on the North West corner of Pinehills Rd & Hwy 50. Looks dumpy but he does good work.
Audio Excellence its next to the the Sam's Club on west hwy50 & Apopka Vineland Rd.
Hope this helps..

I had my windows tinted recently, back in the summer. I think it is one of the best mod's I have done. Made a big difference in temp. I also wanted to protect the leather seats, Here are pictures of before and after. This is legal tinting % also. Driver's and passenger windows do have a maximum amount, as you can see.
