I'm considering pulling the two fuses that run the VSA.

(Only while driving on the beach and in muddy conditions with tires aired down).

My understanding is that the VSA helps with traction when your Vehicle begins lateral sliding. When on beach sand and mud, and gravely roads like in the Ridgeline video we have all seen, I believe the VSA hinders otherwise perfect performance. (under the driving conditiond described). VSA was designed for road conditions? Any of you who have been on the beach or mud know the vehicle slides left and right, mostly in the groves of other tire marks.

I do not intend to drive on the road without the VSA, this feature has its merits!

What about pressing the button that shuts off the VSA? Why pull the fuses if you can just turn it off?

The reason he has to pull the fuse is that he is airing down his tires for increased traction. This triggers the TPMS system which turns VSA back on because it thinks your tires are flat and needs to help you stay in control.
