For those of you whom reside in the southwest region and perhaps those who have never been here. Here are some pictures of my Ridge at Bartlet and Horseshoe DAM/Lake for your viewing pleasure. Beautiful scenery. By the way if you don't know and its okay not to know, but Bartlet Lake and Horseshoe Lake are in Arizona.

Bartlet Lake

Horseshoe Lake, the lake is so low you can see the river running through it.

Here is a picture of Horseshoe DAM. It has a walkway under the path of water. I have never seen water flow over this dam... supposedly when water is flowing over it you can walk under the water fall to the other side.

Here is the walkway.

The road out to Horseshoe Lake is medium rough washboard with a couple rough spots but it is very manageable and a fun drive 9 miles max from the turn off of Bartlet Dam Road.

Great pics. Brings back memories. I can't believe how far the lake level has dropped. Hopefully a couple of (or three or four or five) good winters and it will be back up again

Nice shots Fett! That is an awesome area, it's to bad Horseshoe is so low. I was fishing Bartlett a few months ago for the first time 15 years. Looks like a lot of good camping spots. I'm thinking you had a great weekend at the lake. Thanks for sharing!
