I have an 08 RTX that is equiped with an "anti-theft" system. If I push the lock button 3 times my horn beeps and there is a flashing red light on my radio.
However, when I sat in the car, armed it and opened the doors nothing happened. Plus, I was able to start the truck without dissarming it.
Do I actually have an alarm or just a keyless entry that beeps the horn and has a decieving sticker on the drivers side window?

The "Anti-Theft System" with the flashing light on the radio is for the radio only. If its power is disconnected it requires a code to operate it again.
The horn confirms that your truck is locked and secure but that’s it. I don't think there is an alarm on the RTX trim.
All RL's do have an immobilizer system that will only allow the engine to start if you have a properly coded key.
Hope this clears it up.
Everything is explained in the OM.

Thanks, now I need to see if an alarm is less than my insurance deductible.
RTX does not have full Security System but you have the coded anti-theft radio. You also have the Direct Ignition System with Immobillizer.
The RTS & RTL have the Security System You may be better off without it.
If you wan't a true Security System go aftermarket that has motion/glass breakage sensors & other features you may wan't. The Security System on the RTS & RTL model is just what came on my 2000 Acura TL when it was new. I had an aftermarket alarm system put on the car the next day.
