shovelhd 12-01-2008, 09:11 AM I was thrilled to see that your company became a ROC sponsor.
People, these are the BEST panel tools available BAR NONE. Stay away from the Harbor Freight cheapies. If used correctly, you will not damage any part of your Ridgeline interior if you use these tools. Anyone contemplating a sound system upgrade needs to put them on their "must buy" list.
I hope you sell a ton of them.
Pizza Man 12-01-2008, 09:30 AM I bought mine before they became a sponsor. :(
ULTIMATETOOLCO 12-01-2008, 04:21 PM Thanks for the support shovelhd! The KTC Panel Popper Kit is one of our most popular items for a reason. Speaking from first hand experience, it really becomes invaluable if you do any work on the interior.
What doesn't come across in the pictures is how rigid and durable the plastic is on these panel poppers. They may look brittle being so thin, but that's far from the case. If you manage to damage these poppers, you were using them wrong!

jpepper 12-01-2008, 07:50 PM Based on prior posts, I bought mine t momth after the Ridge and therefore before they became a sponsor.
These things do the job and are worth the price without having to worry about the Ridge.:o
Benedict 12-01-2008, 08:11 PM cool product, Ill pick one up in the new year
Sparkland 12-02-2008, 09:12 AM I bought these after a previous reference was made in another post just after I bought my RL in March.
Never really thought I would use them much--but to my amazement they have been put to good use.
Used them to pop a plastic panel from underneath my dash when working on the hitch harness
Used them to pry the tail light lense off when working on my backup camera
Used them to pry the headlight off my Camry to change them
Used them to remove the molding when installing my roof rack
Used them when removing the radio in my son's Civic to install XM radio
You get the idea.
Brad:)
jaj08 12-03-2008, 03:09 PM Damn wish I would have seen these earlier as my goal was to do my wiring harness for the hitch this weekend but now I may wait to use these tools as I always fear breaking stuff when it comes to popping panels off n' such.

PalmettoRidgey 12-30-2008, 11:52 PM Looks great. I will really need these when it comes time for my Roof Rack to be installed.
Negative. I installed my roof rack today and if you start in the front, you can almost pull up the trim with your hands. Put down a rag where the roof meets the windshield, insert screwdriver (or other, softer, device if you're afraid), pry slightly, and it will come right up. You will be able to pull the rest with your hands.
Don't let not having a KTC tool stop you from putting your rack on. I looked for two days in auto parts stores for a KTC trim removal tool ... yeah, was not there.
But by all means, buy it if you plan to do mods on the inside especially. I can see other tools chipping the interior plastic.
Last advice about the roof rack install ... note the "FRONT ->" designation when you start to cut your existing trim to place back in the slots. I, um, didn't on one of the pieces of trim. Made it work well enough though and it would never be spotted unless you took the rack off.
Janizary 12-31-2008, 04:11 PM This would have been nice when I was pulling the rear door panels on my IS350. I had the 'lexus' poly tool, and it 'worked', but these would have surely have made a difference.
Just ordered a set. Bound to need them again at some point.
