I have been searching and reading - my eyes are now red and hurt... Can you guys help me out?
I wish to add a AUX-in only - Ipod is not necessary.
What is the thing to buy without breaking the bank? Thanks!

I've got one if you need it. I've been procrastinating putting it up on the trading post. There was some issues with the units having low volume. Groom sent me an upgraded chip and the sound is equal to CD volume.

Metra makes one that is very inexpensive and works great. I know you are not interested in an Ipod connector but this one comes with both. I picked mine up on eBay for $21 new. Here is the link from the retail sector. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Metra-iPod-Honda-Adapter-AIPHD03ID/sem/rpsm/oid/185489/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
Make sure to get the correct model. It is the AIPHD03ID with the white connector.

The Grom has been on ebay this week for $59.99 shipped, about the same as the Metra.
I ordered one to replace the Metra.
Metra has a "dongle" that is not very neat in my opionion, while the Grom comes out as a 3mm male.
