Hey Everyone,
Appreciate this forum and all the info it provides. Wondering if anyone here has any advice on buying/leasing a Ridge in Northern VA. Id prefer a 2008 non NAV RTL.
If anyone has any good experience with dealers out here, and how much you paid, please let me know. I know I missed out on the dealer incentives, but Im trying to take advantage of the end of the year pressure to get rid of the 2008s.
Im still debating whether to buy or lease, so Id appreciate any advice on that too!
Thanks!

There is a $3500 dealer incentive in effect until early January. I think buying is better than leasing unless you have unusual circumstances.

well none of the Honda dealers i went to are good one of the members are saying the Honda dealer in Alexandria is good but he didnt buy the truck there, i got mine at Fairfax Honda because we know some people there, but the salesman and the sales manager were jerks, and i have had trouble with the parts department and the service department when i got the option parts installed on my car and when i needed some warranty work done, and the dealership in Tysons...... well they....... theres really no nice way to put it there dumb, they said some of the option parts (running board & bed extender) were stock on the RTL and that Vtec means cylinder deactivation like the Pilot has
i would try the one in Alexandria, i have never been there but its gotta be a lot better then the 2 dealers i hae been to.
also i did lease mine, i have the RTL no Navi 12,000 miles a year with running boards, fog lights, back up sensors, remote start, & brush guard $430.60 a month that has all the taxes and crap rolled into it, all i paid up front was first months payment + $200 for the remote start

thanks for the info guys. Id have to agree with Tysons, they are idiots, my fiance saw the sales guy that approached us and knew right away that we got the dumbest of dumb. i will definitely look at alexandria... i heard good things about manassas and leesburg, but im not sure if they have any RTLs there.
i was also considering going to MD. heard some good dealerships over there, but not sure how complicated that gets with taxes and all (im from the westcoast so im a newb when it comes to the communistwealth tax).
my friends have suggested talking to their internet sales people as they are less likely to jack up the price.

You might check with beekermartin here on the site. I think he is a business/sales mgr for a dealer in RI. Is that too far from you?

I know this is kinda an old thread but, if you still looking, you could also try Brown's Arlington Honda, I work in the service department there as a technician. Are sales staff is nice and polite, not pushy. :)

Just curious, but how many sales people are left as compared to one or two years ago. My local Honda dealership "gutted" the sales department and the few that remain walk on "pin's & needles."
