Attaboy Jason!

Take a look around at business today and see if anyone else would do this ...

I took off my Brush Guard that I bought from Jason 2 years ago, did some mods to the front end, and over time was ready to put the brush guard back on. Problem is that somehow I lost the two brackets that fit on the top of the front end (under hood).

I contacted Jason and told him what happened. He said he'd check on it.

A response like that from any other business and I would have blown it off as code for "too bad, so sad, so long sucker" ... but Jason's reputation is pretty good so I waited patiently.

A few days later I get a prepaid package from Fed Ex (I wasn't home and it required a signature so FedEx made arrangements to drop it off the next day). That same night I got an email from Jason saying he'd spoken with the manufacturer/importer and they could get me the parts for $19. He set up a "special order" spot on his website.

Now remember, the package arrived that same day, and I had no idea it was actually the brackets. So ... Jason had them send the package before I even paid for the order. Talk about a leap of faith!

The next day I got the package and realized what it was (I hadn't put Jason with the package since I was expecting something else). I wrote Jason and told him I'd got the package.

Come to find out, the guy paid for this out of his pocket (on faith that I'd pay, I guess ... what a leap of faith in today's world) and that he didn't add any extra (no profit) on the parts.

So ... Jason ... Attaboy!

For what it's worth ... the profit Jason just gave up is going to come back to him in "good reports" on the 2 dozen different discussion groups I belong to. I'll work a spot in for his site just to see if it will drum up a little extra business for him. No good deed should go unanswered.

It's always nice to hear the good things people do...rather than all the bad things that are in the news. Way to go Jason!!
