hello all. I have installed a pioneer AVIC 90bt navi. I am thinking about replacing the existing front speakers and eventually amplifying them. Then continue to work my way back until I reach the sub. I want some good components somewhere below $250 or Front and rears that will not go over$350 for both sets. I figure Go good with the front speakers and decent with the rears. If I have to spend more for solid fronts I guess I will. I have been looking at infinity speakers. Originally I was looking at the infinity 60.7 but then I saw that the perfect 6.1 seemed to be at a low price at this website. I have never dealt with them before and was wondering what the word is or if there are any other suggestions. I really have not dealt with components that much. I saw that rainbows have been suggested but I have not ever heard them or of them before this site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a set of low end Focals. They are amazing and beats the run of the mill brands hands down. I compared them with the Polk MM series and Focals was so much clearer. Be aware you will have to cut metal if you want to use the 6.5". Good luck.

You said eventually amplifying them. I would not buy a set of speakers like the Perfect's and run them off the HU. You won't be happy. Just when they start to come to life your HU will be out of gas. Save your money and do them together.
I suggest a trip to your local car audio store to check out brands. There are significant differences even at the same price level. Bring CD's you are familiar with.

I listened to a few and liked the Diamond HEX series - they are in your price range. They sound great in my opinion. Silk tweets

I've recently did up the RL with Hertz Deici DSK 165 components all around. This is the introduction line but at your budget you could move up to the energy series. http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/ (http://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/)
If you can find a hertz dealer in your area, you won’t be disappointed.

There are tons of really good speakers out there. I would also look in to Rainbow. The SLC line is hard to beat for the price. I think that is what shovelhd is using now. I have used their higher up Germanium line and they are incredible. But to get the most out of any comp set, you will need to amp them. Even a small 50 watt amp will do better for them than a head unit. Although I would try to put around 75-100 or more to a good set.

Yes, I have SLC's at 125W/ch.
