I just got done ordering my Retrax direct from them!

Thanks for all the help here at the ROC comparing the different covers.

Their current deal for ROC members is buy a Retrax with a tailgate lock and tailgate gasket and get $100 off.

They have the Electric Dynolock and the Pop N Lock. The salesman told me that they only have the black color for the Pop N Lock, so if you want another color, you're going to have to buy it somewhere else.

I decided to go with the Dynolock, since it will lock the tailgate whenever I lock the truck....nice feature! :) Plus it was only $30 more than the Pop N Lock, so not too bad.

All in all, the final total after shipping was $1030 for all 3 items. Should get here middle of next week. I'll post pictures of it when I get it all installed!

Congrats! I hope you enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed ours. It's one of our best purchases for our truck.

Ok, I did get the Retrax on....I just had Board Exams get in my way! :)

Anywho, everything went GREAT and the Retrax looks awesome! Really easy to get on with my wife's help. The tailgate gasket was also really easy to get on.

So I got the Dynolock for my tailgate and after the HEADACHE of an installation, I got it all set up and it works good. I'm really glad that I got the Dynolock over the Pop & Lock. One less key on my keychain and it locks when I lock the doors of the Ridgeline. Like I said, the installation can be quite frustrating and the instructions they provide are NOTHING like the great ones Retrax gives you!

I've had the Retrax on for about a week now and I wanted to address the two issues I've heard about....mainly the "flutter" sound and the scratching.

I figured that it would scratch anyway, so I already washed my truck once and just went to town on the Retrax like I do with the rest of the body with regular old towels. NOT ONE SCRATCH ON HER!! I was expecting a ton, but not one. I'll let you guys know how it looks in a month or so, but as of right now, perfect.

As far as the flutter is concerned, I can only hear it when the back window is open and I go over a bump when I'm traveling over 40 MPH. The "flutter" is so quite, that I had to strain to hear it. I definitely would never notice it if I had the radio going. I was just cruising down the highway this morning going 65 and I couldn't hear anything.

Sorry for no pics yet, but I'll get them up soon!
