Advertising, Linking to URL's, etc.

There has been an increase in the amount of linking or advertising within posts or signatures lately. Just as a reminder, you cannot advertise or include links in your posts or signatures that are considered to be advertising.

For example,

If you find a product that you think works well, you can link to it. I have used Zaino Bros. car care products on my car and when I referred to the product, I posted a link to their site. I do not work for them.

If you manufacture a product and want to sell more of it, you can't link to it here without arranging to advertise on this site. I know it's a great way to hype up your business, but advertising costs money. Just contact me...we can work something out that is fair for everybody.

If you are a Honda dealer, you can't advertise or hype your dealership without arranging to advertise on this site and get listed on our dealer directory. Same thing here... if you get listed on our family of sites, you will sell more vehicles. It's a proven fact. So, that's worth something and it's worth a lot more than we ask to get listed on our Dealer Directory.

*Note: I don't mind if you put a URL to your business, etc. in your "Home Page" area of your user profile - just not in posts or signatures.

If you have any questions, please contact me directly. If you are currently linking to your own product or doing self-promotion, please remove the link. Our site/forum rules can be found in our FAQ section, linked up top.

Thanks for your cooperation.
