Remember, try taking the alternate route that will bypass construction (I-17 Phoenix) and speed cameras (I-10 & I-17). It will probably take a little time off your commute! :p And if nothing else, a scenic drive - and don't forget when you pass thru the small town of 'Hope'....!

Alternate Route from California (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Quartzsite,+AZ&daddr=US-60%2FW+Wickenburg+Way+to:AZ-260+to:34.849875,-111.829834&geocode=%3BFVhABgIdeoFH-Q%3BFUziEAIdfIxT-Q%3B&hl=EN&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=3&sz=8&via=1,2&sll=34.139088,-113.03833&sspn=2.741366,4.921875&ie=UTF8&z=8)

There's a small town called Hope. As you leave the town, there is a billboard sign that says something to the effect 'You are beyond Hope'..... ;)

I'm figuring to avoid the Friday “nut house” traffic through LA/Riverside/Orange County and be out on the 10 before the workday rush-hour mess. Once we’re on the straight away to AZ, it should be smooth sailing….Your thoughts?

I touched on it with my BW.

I'll let her warm up to the idea of getting out of the house by 6 am in the morning. Then get her to commit. :o

There is a Denny's just off the I-10 freeway at Beaumont Avenue, which is the next exit you come to after the 60 freeway transition to I-10. We can all meet there at 0700?
