Visiting the Portland Area [Archive] - Honda Ridgeline Owners Club Forums

Hello all,

My wife and I will be flying to Portland the last week in May. We took an extended vacation last year which included most of the NW and we really enjoyed our time.

This time, we are scoping out the area to see if we would like to relocate there----of course jobs would have to come first....

Any recommendations on what the locals do? Great places to eat? Interesting day trips? We are familar with many of the communities around Portland, and are open to all suggestions.

Also, I would really like to be able to schedule 20 minutes with someone at Columbia Sportswear to discuss their organization and culture. And my wife would like to do the same at Vestas.----thus if anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

We both currently work with the Volvo Group in North Carolina, and we are willing to reciprocate if anyone has a desire to more to NC.

This trip is primarily Portland, we may also plan a seperate trip to the Seattle area in the fall.
