I picked up this little piece of kit on Saturday just before I drove my Ridgeline from Vancouver, BC to San Francisco (3,200 km round trip in 3 days).

I was pleasantly surprised to be honest, worked extremely well. Out of the ~30 or so cop cars that I passed on the trip, it alerted me to all but two (and I suspect that those two were not active at that time). I rarely go over %10 of the speed limit, but it is reassuring to know that you were not going to be surprised around the next bend or over the next hill.
Pros:
Alerts me well in advance of any speed trap - even up to 2km.
The separate remote control can be switched off and can be used only to change settings.
It folds away neatly and stays hidden behind the sun stripe.
Contrary to the reviews, its quite loud.
Makes me more aware of the current speed limit.
Cons:
About 50% of the time it appeared to be a false positive.
My question:
I want to wire it up to the center mirror (preferably without having to remove the headliner). Anyone got any diagrams / info / suggestions on how best to hook it up and what way the mirror is wired (voltage, resistance etc)?
Once I figure out how best to do it I will take pics of the installation and post them.
