To make a long story short.....I was troubleshooting a wiring problem with my Alpine PXE h-650 sound processor power harness. While I was checking the 12 volt power and ground wire next to it with my volt meter the two connections touched !!!!!! I heard a pop and fizz! :eek:
The 3 amp fuse at the processor blew...no problem, I changed it out.
The big problem now, the radio and nav unit do not turn on! I checked the 20 amp radio fuse in the fuse panel and it is fine... Is there another fuse or reset botton somewhere or did I just make a thousand dollar mistake and blow my radio and nav unit???
On the possitive side, the processor now works, go figure! :rolleyes:
