Hi all,

New to this forum, new (used) Ridgeline owner. I was looking at adding a Bluetooth device. I have an iPhone 3G and would also like the idea of playing my music off of my phone. Does anyone have any knowledge of this unit? I tried searching but due to the new release it doesn't appear that popular.

Thanks,

Stewie

meanmachine19, did an install of an earlier model, but you can reference his install which was very good as an idea for yours, I'm sure some of the features are somewhat similar also,

Mine was the MK6100, not hard, but just make sure your phone is compatible.

Ya,

I have the iPhone 3G which says it will work. I'm very interested in getting it. I've read about the bluetooth from bluefusion which sounds good but I'm also interested in playing my mp3s from my iphone.

I guess I might have to try it. I'm a little worried about the lack of sub mute tho.

It will work only if you don't want the mp3 player to use the subwoofer since the parrot unit has a built in amp to feed the speakers and it doesn't go through the head unit. You will also have to do the mute relay hookup to kill the sub when using the mp3 player.
I had ordered a 9200 but found out this after a lot of research and no-one makes a wiring harness as well so a lot of wire splicing.
I just went with the 3100 open box at best buy for $99 and use the aux input for the ipod
The sub really isn't that bad but eventually I will probably mute it.
