Just installed it Friday and took it out on the highway. Still on the truck, although the hardware attaching kit is cheap quality. plastic screws with those expandible pop-in plastic thingies. the screws really don't go in well at all. need to pop them down with a hammer, lightly of course. design is so-so but half of what the dealer wants for his Honda version.

I went with real screws too. Toss those plastic ones before you try to install, it makes the installation easier.

I also used metal screws from a hardware store. Made it sooo much easier to do the install. Those plastic screws suck!

found out the hard way when one screw disappeared into the sub engine area. subbed a steel screw and it bit into that plastic expander like a shark. worked better. the factory is sending me replacement ones as I was p-o'd and emailed them right away. they answered in one day. not bad for $50 all told. :o

I went to a boating supply place that had stainless steel screws. they were 33 cents each. Well worth it. They will never rust.
