06silverridge 07-09-2009, 09:25 PM Can someone tell me why the aftermarket companies won't bother making a real lift kit for our trucks. It seems all makes Jeep, Toyota, Ford, Chevy, you name it have real heavy duty 4-6 in. lift kits. Why not the ridgeline. Can they be customized by local shops? Listen, I don't mind spending the money because I will keep my truck a long while, so, if anyone knows how I can get a real of road worthy lift on my truck pleae let me know.

Because we are not body on frame like conventional trucks. You can do a body lift cheap and easy. That's part of it anyway
06silverridge 07-10-2009, 09:06 PM Does anyone know what the deal is with the Baja Ridgeline's suspension is....I think they use a Fox suspesion setup. Is it lifted? Will it fit 37's?

the baja ridgeline has a macperson king susension and 32" tires
06silverridge 07-11-2009, 07:10 AM Damn, I just read that article on 4wheeler, no hope for that setup on mine. This sucks

i mean
the baja ridgeline is only about 1" taller than mine
but it has alot more travel in suspension
06silverridge 07-11-2009, 11:49 AM I have the truxx 2in lift as well. I don't really care about the suspension travel, I just wanted to get massive tires to fit. I've been all over this forum, but I can't find the answer. Right now I'm running 17in American Racing Teflon wheels with BFGoodrich Mud Terrians. The setup is just under a 32in in total diameter. It looks like thats as far as it goes for the Ridge.:(

06silverridge 07-11-2009, 12:27 PM Yeah, good choice it's a great setup for this truck. I wonder what the biggest diameter wheel/tire combo ever tried on the truck is. Can someone actually fit 35's? Probably with a lot of cutting and welding.
PHILLYRIDGE 07-11-2009, 04:34 PM can you guys post pics?

Here's mine with American Racing Teflon Fuels. Tires are BF Goodrich M/T's 245/70/17 had to trim pinch welds a little.

PHILLYRIDGE 07-12-2009, 06:32 PM Great look..... would you still have had to do the trims if you were to remove the mud gaurds?

drednot 07-22-2009, 05:05 PM I haven't been keeping up with the lift threads for awhile...sorry, But have you guys had problems up to now with the lifts? Also Ridgeline 4 Life, how are your painted wheels holding up? Not trying to hijack the thread.

No problems with my Truxxx Lift at all, but I've only had it on for just over 4K miles.
drednot 07-22-2009, 11:58 PM Thanks Silverridge. I am still unsure of throwing a lift on my 09 with 2500 miles on it. Im afraid ill screw it up.
