Oct. 2 - 4, 2009 - 17th Lone Star Nationals Goodguys Rod & Custom Show (Fort Worth, TX)
Over 1,500 Rods, Customs, Classics, Muscle Cars and Trucks thru '72 will be on display. The event also includes vendor and manufacturer exhibits, Goodgals Gallery, Model Car & Pedal Car Show, Swap Meet & Cars for Sale Corral and a Goodguys Street Challenge AutoCross. Admission is $17 for adults and $6 for children (7-12). Camping is $35 per night, cash only, based on a first come, first serve basis. Camping opens at noon Tuesday, Sept. 30. I'm off the 2nd-4th. Couldn't get the wife to camp though (she's high maintenance). Uh oh...she just read that.

I'll just miss this. I'm going through Dallas on the 1st, then I'm off to Oklahoma, NM, and Colorado.

A beauty, Outfitter! We have them like that all over the place out here. They sleep in our yards and eat everything in sight. I've shown you videos before and this year it is unbelievable. The big bucks are even starting to spar with one another. Too bad we can't hunt them here. Let us know if you bag this brute.

Dad went out yesterday and didn't see a single one... did see a turkey though... I gave him about 7 bags of apples and he did say they were eating some...
